From Initial Idea to Final Presentation
A photograph, sketch, previous award or written description can help explain your idea. The following stages provide a guide; the agreed process depends on your design and manufacturing requirements.

Share Your Design Brief
Tell us what the award should represent, who will receive it, the quantity, budget and required date. Include reference images or sketches and identify any dimensions or features that are essential.

Discuss Materials & Processes
We can assess material combinations, proportions, branding and suitable decoration methods. Engraving, colour printing, cutting, fabrication and specialist manufacturing depend on the proposed design.

Confirm the Quotation & Scope
Review the quantity, design requirements, proposed materials and what the quotation includes. Any applicable artwork, sample, tooling, setup, packaging or delivery charges should be confirmed before you proceed.

Review Artwork & Samples
Check the proposed layout, wording, logo, fonts, dimensions and finish. Physical samples or prototypes are supplied only where specifically agreed and quoted.

Approve the Design for Production
Production begins once the required design approval and payment arrangements are complete. Check every detail before approval; later changes may affect the cost and completion date.

Arrange Collection or Delivery
Confirm the packaging, collection or dispatch arrangements as part of the project. Allow for delivery time and tell us your presentation date at the beginning of the enquiry.
Design feasibility, minimum quantities, sample requirements, costs and lead times depend on the proposed product and manufacturing method. These details are confirmed in your quotation rather than assumed from a reference image.

- Logo artwork, proposed wording and reference images.

Consider the Complete Presentation
Materials, Branding & Personalisation
Glass, crystal, acrylic, timber and metal offer different appearances and manufacturing possibilities. The suitable combination depends on the design, size, quantity and available processes.
Supply vector EPS or PDF logo artwork where available. If you only have a JPG or PNG, send the highest quality original for assessment. Our team can advise whether redraw work is required.
Discuss any critical colour, finish, weight, packaging or display requirements before the design is finalised.
Plan Approval, Production & Future Orders
Allow Time for Each Project Stage
Custom work may involve design development, material sourcing, specialist processes and multiple approval stages. Confirm the schedule for your particular project before relying on it for an event.
If the award will be presented annually, tell us which details will change and which should remain consistent. Future availability and repeat-order requirements should be discussed as part of the initial brief.
Changes after artwork or design approval may incur additional costs and affect the completion date. Samples, tooling and installation are only included where expressly stated in your quotation.
